What this service is

Commercial Solar Quotes reads your electricity bill, sizes a system against your actual consumption profile, and returns a costed proposal prepared by an accredited commercial solar installer we work with.

We don't run an auction and we don't publish a panel of competing quotes. You get one proposal, built for your site, with the assumptions shown so you can check them or take them to another installer.

The installer funds this service so that it's free to use. They pay us to run it, not per project and not out of your quote, so nothing about what we recommend changes what we're paid. You pay nothing for the assessment, and there's no obligation to accept the proposal.

The figures on this site are estimates

Costs, savings, payback periods, generation figures and rebate values published here are indicative ranges based on typical Australian commercial installations. They aren't a quote and they aren't a guarantee. Your actual figures depend on your roof, your switchboard, your tariff, your consumption pattern and what your distribution network allows, which is the reason the assessment exists.

Rebates and regulation change

Federal certificate values, state programs, feed-in rates and network connection rules all change, sometimes at short notice. We update this site when they do, and we check the current position on your specific proposal. Don't budget off a web page. Budget off the proposal.

No financial or tax advice

Nothing here is financial, tax or legal advice. Depreciation treatment, write-off thresholds and how a solar asset sits on your books are questions for your accountant.

The installation contract isn't with us

If you proceed, your contract for the design, supply and installation of the system is with the installer, and their warranties, terms and workmanship guarantees apply to that work. We're not a party to it.
